Gee where do I start. Well I have lived in California all of my life, until April 2000. At that time, I moved to Oregon to be closer to my family. Chris and Sarah have given me 4 beautiful grandchildren. Heather is now 6, Job will be 5 in December and the newest addtions are Jeb and Josh. I've taken up another new career in my late life and have gone into the Real Estate endeavor. So after just a year, I'm learning quickly and I kinda like it. So all in all from being in fast food, beautician, retail, banking, Youth Authority, and now this, I think I have a pretty well-rounded book of experiences. Gee maybe I should write my memoirs. Oh well.

I also like to cook. Recently after purchasing a satallite dish and now with cable ... I found the Food Network. My favorite show is Emeril Live!. Here is my dedication to the "BAM" man.

I have put some recipes together ... most I have tried myself. So Click below and good eatin'.

I also have added some "Spirits" recipes here for the liking. I have tried some and they are ohhhhhhh so good.

As noted above, I guess it would be most appropriate to show off my family. I have a son, Chris; daughter-in-law, Sarah; and four wonderful grandchildren, Heather, Job, Jebidiah and Joshua. They live in Oregon too and are currently looking for bigger quarters and closer to me. They only live about 20 mintues away now, but Chris got a job with Boise Cascade and Sarah works for Denny's and so they are thinking of moving to the Medford area instead of staying in the Grants Pass area. Chris and Sarah were married on May 14, 1994. Then Heather came along on July 24, 1995. Job was born on December 14, 1996. and the twins were born on March 31, 2001. These pictures represent some of us who are fighting (or lost the fight) against Cancer. The one on the left is me (before I lost all my hair). I am and have been in remission since November 1998. My dad passed away in 1987 of lung cancer; my mom passed away in 1998 from brain cancer, and my brother passed on in 2000 from lung cancer. So I guess I'm doing something right as I'm still here and thank God everyday that he allows me to continue to be part of his great Earth and spend time with my family. The picture on the right is of close friends. Pam on the left has sinced passed away. Loretta in the middle and Gail on the right are currently Breast Cancer Survivors. We are all fighting the dreaded fight. But I can speak for all of us. We will NOT give in to this dreaded disease. We will keep fighting.
